At first, StickCup is pure discovery. Children grasp, drop, stack and sort the sticks into the cup, building hand eye coordination, grip strength and early problem solving.
There is no "right way" to play - just curiosity, repetiton and confidence growing with every stick.
Stage 2
Colours, Numbers & Letters
"These symbols mean something"
As children begin to recognize shapes and patterns, StickCup becomes a hands on learning tool.
They start to learn letters, colours and numbers - practicing sequencing, counting and the alphabet - all while still playing. This builds early literacy, numeracy and pattern recognition.
Stage 3
Count & Spell

Now the Sticks unlock their full power. Children build words, explore phonics and sound out language using the printed words on each stick.
Spelling becomes tactile. Reading becomes playful and learning becomes something they want to do.

StickCup began with a simple moment — a toddler happily placing her mom’s eyeshadow into a cup, dumping it out, and starting again. Over and over, she carefully made sure all the tops pointed one way and all the bottoms pointed the other.
We saw more than play — we saw natural learning.
So we built on that instinct using wooden sticks and a simple cup (instead of makeup on the floor). By adding numbers, letters, and colours, we turned a familiar behaviour into a purposeful learning tool — one that encourages children to sort, organize, explore patterns, and build early literacy and numeracy skills through play.
StickCup was created from real play, for real children.
